A guided online conversation for the disagreements that don’t need a court — but do need both people to actually be heard.
Online mediation is any structured conversation between two people in disagreement, with a neutral third party guiding it over the internet. In the UK it ranges from informal, app-based conversations through to full video sessions with an accredited family mediator.
Most disagreements never need a court. They need somewhere private to talk that doesn’t collapse into the same argument either of you have been having for months. That is the gap Meedi8 sits in.
Meedi8 is at its best for the everyday stuff: a co-parenting handover that keeps going wrong, a recurring argument with a partner, a falling-out with a sibling, friction with a flatmate. Things where both people are willing to talk and what is missing is a structure for doing it without it spiralling.
It is not the right fit if you need a formal mediated agreement, a MIAM certificate for court, or legal advice. For court-track family mediation you need an accredited mediator — the Family Mediation Council directory is the right place to start.
Describe the situation in your own words. No forms, no booking, no waiting list.
Meedi8 asks the questions that help you and the other person hear each other.
A plain-English record of what you both said, where you agreed, and what is still open.
All conversations are encrypted. Only you and the other person can read them.
Your data is protected under the strictest privacy regulations. Delete anytime.
No one at Meedi8 can read your conversations. Your coaching sessions are private.
Meedi8 is a guided-conversation tool. We are not a Family Mediation Council (FMC) accredited mediator, we do not conduct MIAMs or court-track family mediation, and we are not a substitute for formal mediation where one is required.
If you are preparing a family-court application you will need an accredited mediator, not this tool. The Family Mediation Council directory is where to start. Nothing said to Meedi8 is legal advice.
Free to start. No account needed. Your first session is private to you.
